Individual & Family Plans

When you sign up for coverage during a special enrollment period, the date your coverage starts will be different depending on:

• What your qualifying event is
• The date we get your requested documents (application, Account Change Form, or subsidy eligibility form)
• Where you live

For California - Eligibility to purchase an individual health plan through an individual coverage health reimbursement arrangement (ICHRA) or a qualified small employer health reimbursement arrangement (QSEHRA)

If we receive your application:	Your coverage will start:
On or before the date of the qualifying life event and the event date is not the 1st of the month	First day of the month following the date of the event
On or before the date of the qualifying life event and the event date is the 1st of the month	The date of the qualifying life event
After the qualifying life event date	First day of the month after receipt of your application
