When will my coverage start?
When you sign up for coverage during a special enrollment period, the date your coverage starts will be different depending on:
- What your qualifying event is
- The date we get your requested documents (application, Account Change Form, or subsidy eligibility form)
- Where you live
For California - Provider network changes
If we receive your requested documents: | Your coverage will start: |
---|---|
Between the 1st and the 15th of the month following the event | First day of the month after receipt of requested documents |
Between the 16th and the last day of the month following the event | First day of the second month after receipt of requested documents |
