When will my coverage start?

When you sign up for coverage during a special enrollment period, the date your coverage starts will be different depending on:

  • What your qualifying event is
  • The date we get your requested documents (application, Account Change Form, or subsidy eligibility form)
  • Where you live

For Colorado - Permanent relocation with access to new plans

Your coverage will start on the first day of the month following receipt of your application.
